UK makes a significant step to address the NHS workforce shortfall:
The NHS, a publicly funded healthcare institution that is celebrating its 75th anniversary, is facing a 360,000-worker deficit by 2037. This shortfall is caused by factors such as an ageing population, insufficient training of healthcare workers in the country, and difficulties in maintaining present employees.
To address this ongoing issue, the government launched a new plan on Friday to offer over 300,000 additional doctors and nurses to the NHS in England, hoping to alleviate the chronic lack of healthcare workers.
