- Canadian Experience Class - CEC
- Provincial Nomination of certain Provincial programs - PNPs

Federal Skilled Worker
All visa applications for Canadian immigration under the Federal Skilled Worker Program are evaluated based on the applicant’s ability to settle and succeed economically once migrates to Canada. They are evaluated based on their academic credentials, English or French language skills, and work experience relevant to the skilled migration visa categories required by the National Occupation Classification.
It is done through the Express Entry system, which manages the applications of persons from all over the world who want to immigrate to Canada. A large number of our Pakistanis immigrate to Canada in this way.
If you are unfamiliar with the system and how it works, know that it is a point-based system that distributes points to application profiles. Age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and flexibility are all variables that are used to allocate points. Applicants with the most points are invited to apply for immigration first, followed by applicants with the lowest number of points.
Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTC)
Skilled workers who demonstrate their ability to settle and succeed in the Canadian economy after skilled immigration are eligible for the Federal Skilled Trades Program. Applicants with qualifying credentials or job offers are permitted to work in a variety of industries in order to get Permanent Residency in Canada in any province other than Quebec under this program.

The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) allows Canadian provinces to nominate people from all over the world who wish to immigrate to those provinces. Canada has signed separate agreements with each of the 10 provinces and three territories to nominate talented workers on their behalf. These agreements allow Canadian provinces and territories to nominate permanent citizens to live in their provinces and help satisfy the labor shortage and demand for skilled workers in specific areas. This program is being implemented in the provinces and territories listed below.
- Alberta
- British Columbia
- Manitoba
- Nova Scotia
- New Brunswick
- New Found land & Labrador
- Nunavut
- Northern Territories
- Ontario
- Prince Edwards Island
- Quebec (Separate agreement)
- Saskatchewan
- Yukon
The provincial nomination program has been very popular in recent years due to the very high threshold of Federal programs. Provincial programs have comparatively flexible eligibility criteria. However, because each province has its own demographic makeup, the majority of their nomination programs are either occupation-restricted or based on employment offers. The job offer route may be effective for high-tech and technical professions. Other applicants must follow the route of in-demand jobs.
The Provincial Nominee Program, on the other hand, typically has less competition than the Federal Skilled Worker Program. This allows those with lower profile scores to immigrate to Canada as well.
Some PNPs have no job offers. Applicants are rated based on their points. The top scorers in various occupations are invited to apply for Provincial nomination. After receiving the Provincial nomination, the application is sent to the federal government, either through Express Entry with an additional 600 points in their CRS or through a straight paper application for Permanent Residence.
This program, uses the Express Entry system that assigns points to the profiles of applicants. Applicants are ranked based on their education, age, experience, and English and French language skills, as well as their education and experience in that province, job offer, and family in that province.
