The Canadian government allows well-off foreigners to get citizenship by investing in the country’s economy. The investment programs enables potential investors to obtain permanent residency by purchasing government bonds. The Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, as well as federal and provincial programs, govern the process of attaining citizenship through investment in Canada.

HOW TO OBTAIN CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP BY INVESTMENT:
1. Preparation of documents:
Our professionals will assist you with preparing documents with legalized translations and filling out the necessary registration procedures. You must show proof of entrepreneurial experience, required income and financial savings, confirm medical criteria compliance, and pay application processing fees.
2. Receive a Selection Certificate:
One of the steps towards citizenship is obtaining government approval (a Selection Certificate), which allows you to plan your investment. We will submit a complete set of documents to (DEÉC) in Montreal for review. Authorized professionals will evaluate your candidature, financial assets, and plans to live permanently in Canada.
3. Get a permanent residency:
The Selection Certificate permits you to apply for a permanent residence visa in Canada at the Centralized Intake Office, which verifies the results of the medical test and conducts a due diligence check. The government makes the final decision on the issuance of permanent residency. It takes 2-3 years to register for a residence permit through investment.
4. Granting Citizenship:
After 5 years of residency in the country, the chance to apply for citizenship becomes available. Residency in Canada for the last three years of the specified time is required. Documents will be reviewed for one year. Following approval, you must pass a test and an interview with an official representative. The test is waived for applicants above the age of 54. You must take an oath of allegiance after completing additional formalities and gaining authorization. The invitation will be sent by the government four weeks before the scheduled date.
